Welcome to the Racial Justice and Reconciliation Collaborative
This collaborative works with parishes and communities in the diocese of Raleigh to drive awareness, acknowledgement and action to address the sin of racism.
Please join us for our launch event - Wednesday, September 9, 2026 1pm at Holy Name of Jesus, Cathedral in Raleigh!
The homilist for our Mass will be Monsignor Wall who is one of most welcoming priest in the diocese. He has led many pilgrimages around the globe and this Fall will be leading a pilgrimage into the southern United States.
The Mass will be followed by refreshments and a presentation introducing this new diocesan ministry including a brief history that has led to the establishment of this ministry in 2026. It will also include resources that will be available to parishes and communities in the diocese. We will conclude with a sharing session to enable parishes and communities to help one another by sharing practices they have already undertaken to address racism.
